Lol, thx. The paint DID have SOME trouble adhering to the surface, but after the first few layers, it was smooth sailing. Another problem I ran into was not having enough paint. Those 4 dash peices took five 5oz. cans of silver paint. I did 8 layers of paint and 3 layers of clearcoat. If you decide to prime before putting layers of paint on, u will be able to use less layers of paint to acheive the same effect. The whole thing cost me only $20 total

Kinda off the paint topic.... what is now in place of your factory located head unit??? i have the same head and that was a sweet idea. u said u just mounted it in the 6 disk changer brackets????

There is nothing in place of the factory head unit location. I used the case of the head unit's faceplate to act as a cover for it. That way my dash doesnt seem so "torn up".
