That **** is soooo expensive man. I had it on a Passat a while a go and it was like 2,000 for and it was a loose ride. I havent seen a kit for my lancer yet But I sure as hell will get it custom but its gonna be expensive. Might be better off with the Tein adjustable coil-overs. Im not sure I would do the bags If I had the loot

I want some springs that give somewhat of the ride i already have in the lancer but kick *** handling

zlancer has bags...not liquid. zlancer says he can adjust how hard or soft the ride is. obviously the ride isn't going to be as good as a full coilover set but you have to make sacrifices to get low. check his profile, he has pics.

As far as coilovers go, how often are you looking to be adjusting them? I hope that you have an alignment rack inside your garrage to adjust the camber after you lower/raise the car. I would just go with some progressive rate springs and some aftermarket struts. Do they make KYB AGX's for the Lancer? I had GREAT success with the ride/control with those on my GSX with Eibach Pro Kit springs.

I was thinkin about doing air ride, but after much consideration, I'm probably goin to go to a TEIN setup, lower it to wear its pretty decent, get an alignment, and then the only time that I'd slam it would be at shows. If you get air bags, you basically have them for immediate response to raise or lower your car, but if you set up a set of coilovers to a respectable height, you won't have to worry about constintely raising and lowering the vehicle.

personally i love my air suspension. i think it rides great...when you set it correctly. the front air bag struts are perfect but the rear air cylindars kinda suck. (cuz they are the cheap ones) i need a pressure release chamber to make the rear have a softer ride.
everything costed me a little less then $2,000...somewhere between $1,500 and $1,700 actually. installation is easy....simple bolt in. just running the wires and hoses was a *****.

I was wondering what the hell was with the stock/aftermarket wheels in the first pic. You know, I used to hate the base model Lancer when it first came out. I was so pissed that they brought the Lancer, but didn't bring the Evo. Now, even though I have an Evo, I am starting to really like the Lancer. For example, if you would have done that to a Civic, I would have laughed. I see it on your lancer, and I simply look to see what style Evo wing that is, I see your mod list in your signature, and I think......damn, that car looks really cool.
Strange that I have found a new liking for the US Lancer, but I do like it.

oh...and yeah they have special hydrolics that can be used on this type of vehicle. the only problem...actually a few problems....is you cannot bounce because you will destroy the frame of the car, the excessive weight of the system, and the fact that u can't drive above 70 mph (unless you have a perfect and very expensive system) because it starts bouncing out of control.
