Good idea and it looks nice! Rather than having boxed edges, I would want it to slope down as to not look so boxy. Otherwise, It looks great!

How much does it weight?

Definitely a unique mod. I'd much rather have the coils be able to keep cool though. To each his own though.

As for the weight, I didn't weigh it but I'm very comfortable saying under 1/2 a pound It's all aluiminum only about 1/8 inch thick.

I'm NOT flaming you, Just explaining. All the aluiminum in engine is polished (plus other unfinished parts that have been waiting for the engraver). The inside edges of the is the same yellow as the car. The blue aluiminum mesh is the same I used for the lower bumper grills. thanks for the compliment
