New 09 GTS
Last Friday I purchased a 2009 Rally Red Lancer GTS 5 spd. Here are two pics I took on Sunday, I have already ordered the CF fuse box cover and CF spark plug cover from RRM as well as the short shifter from WORKS. Let me know what you think and what I should do next.

My short term plans are tint, intake, possibly exhaust and some suspension goodies from RRM.

Clear Bra... it's like having clear tint/vinyl applied directly to the front end of your car. I had mine done and it covers more than just the hood. It covers the entire front of the car. I had the choice to go up to 24" up the hood, but I had the installer stop just behind the head light assemblies.
Given the paint on our cars is "thin", anything to help protect the front from stone chips and such is worth the money spend. This won't cause more damage to the paint over time. It is NOT one of those black bras from the 90's. This is an almost invisible mask that covers the front of your car that sticks directly to the paint so it won't slide around and scratch the paint, and nothing can get under it to cause the scratches.
The only caveat with having a clear bra on your car is you can ONLY hand wax that area. Power buffers will scratch the hell out of a clear bra and make things look worse than they really are. Clear bras are kind of soft and absorb rock chips instead of your paint. Most are only a couple of mils thick.
You can't even tell I have a clear bra on my car unless you look at the car at just the right angle.
They're meant to be installed 'permanently'. So removing them is a little bit of a pain. To remove them you need to use adhesive remover, but clear bras can be removed without damaging the paint on your car.
They're kind of expensive for our '08s (I forked out ~$780 for clear bra & window tints), because the design of the front of our cars uses a lot of clear bra material, but I'm glad I did it because not more than an hour after I had it put on I had a stone get kicked up and hit the front of the car. I know without a doubt that it would have chipped the paint if the bra wasn't there.
Ask your tint man about it. I'm sure you probably have seen cars with it on, but just didn't know because it is that invisible. It's so easy to not notice unless you're specifically looking for it.

Ditto on the gas cap. I hadn't seen any Lancers with that on it until now. I don't like it, and I'm glad I finally got to see one before I plunked the money down to buy one.
I'll definitely be getting the scuff plates for the door sills though.

The ralliart is going to be at least 5k more expensive with the same options and that might be over some peoples budgets, plus the ralliart won't come with a real manual/clutch, just the auto SST. What if someone only wants a real manual?

thanks for all the comments guys
and the metal gas cap is gone, it got swapped out after i took the pictures!
red wasn't my first choice either, but it was so hard to find a gts 5 spd with the options i wanted so i couldn't be too picky on the color, i do like it though
i don't do any racing (legal or illegal) so i don't have a need for lots of horsepower, the 2.4L has enough for me. plus insurance is cheaper this way
