ha yeah im goin to go take some right now actually.

the cars dirts and still doesnt have a front bumper on it... lol but it did redo the engine bay, still need to clean it up a bit, but it looks pretty good : )

finally some pics.lol I see you shredded the mud guard things in the wheel well. I did the same thing in the few days i had no bumper. car looks good man. oh and your tags are expired.

what kind of radiator is that where did you get it?

 

JVT racing 3 core. and got it on ebay.

 

nice was it for the evo or made for the lancer?

 

well it said it was made for an evo 8 so thats why i got it. because i was told they are interchangeable.

but i think its actually for an old model evo.. because once i got it i noticed the cap and the upper radiator hose were backwards from the stock lancers. wasnt to a big a deal. just had to do some cutting on the hose.

and as you can see i had to make some top brackets for it. cuz the studs are pushed up an inch forward compared to the stock one. prolly has alot to do with it being 3 times the thickness . and it barley fit in with my turbo. the waste gate is less than half an inch away from it . but all in all wasnt to big of a pain.

 

......................hmmm so was driving around with a few of the local tuners friday night, and wrecked.. no other cars were involved, and every ones ok. was wet out and i hydroplaned into curbed median.. only affected the front left, but i think its worse than it really looks.

lucky is still dont have my bumper on cuz it would have been ripped off. havent jacked it up to really check everything out yet, but the front left tire popped, pretty much crushed the rim, bent the hell out of my megan coilover, the wheel got jacked up into the fender and bent the fender all out of wack, ripped off my left side skirt, and from what i can see (i think its the A arm) is all twisted up.. :/

oh and when i put it in gear, the tranny was actin really weird...


im sure there is a lot more wrong with it than what i can physically see as well, so not sure how much its goin to cost. dont think its totaled, but it may be. ive got about 70k on the car so blue book is in the high 5's i think..

im crossing my fingers that its not totaled, but either way it was a fun car while it lasted and the build experience was great. if it is totaled ill be parting it out and prolly getting a GSX.

ok so i just put it up on jack stands and took off the beat up left wheel... it is pretty bad... ill take some pics tomorrow.

and i duno how i didnt notice it before, but it snapped my left headlight mounts, and i have a hair line crack goin from the front left corner of the windshield all the way across..


oh and should i put the wheel back on before the insurance guy comes out to look at it?? just so it looks like i havent touched it since the wreck.. duno how all that works, cuz my familys never had a car damaged this bad before..

ah dude.. thats sucks ***! i was hydroplanning like crazy the other day to when it was rainning (im only a two hours west of you).. sorry to hear that you lost it...

ive slid into a curb before to.. but it was dry. and i crushed my (driverside) lower control arm and bent my sway bar, (i think thats it).. cost me 950 i think, and i had it fixxed in 7 hours after my crash... (crashed at 4am, had it at the shop waiting at 7am, was fixxed in 4 hours) ....


hope your cars ok. ill definately have to come your way in a week or two to show off... (and both of us take some pictures together)

 

update...

sooo i started it up today just to see if anything else was wrong and yeah wasnt good..

the left drive shaft is bent along with all the components around it, and either the tranny is messed up or the throw out bearing, cuz the wheels will try and turn even if its not in gear...
