hey dude. the insurance company has no claims on the aftermarket parts. they are private property.. its just like having subs in your trunk, they can not have them.. just because you have stuff IN or ON your car, its all private property of the owner, and insurance companies lie claim only to manufactoried origonal parts that they are insureing...
the damage on the car isnt much in reality. just needs new seats and a paint job now.. (not counting the curb damage of coarse.. but your talking about 4-6k in damanges for a body shop to fix, and maybe a 1/3 that if you do it all yourself. prep it yourself. and use a pro shop to repaint it all... plus maybe 10 years in jail for killing those F* who did all that damage..
but i would defiantely just go ahead and take off all the aftermarkey parts, insurance company has no claim on them, sue them over it if you have to. thats lots of money you can make off the vehicle that they are not going to cover.
excuse typo`s i am in a hurry.

hmm well yeah that makes since. ill run it by my dad. i wasnt home when the insurance guy came, but he told him i couldnt take anything off of it. but ill call the insurance tomorrow and talk to them tool
if you havent accepted payment for the vehicles it is still yours. if you still have it at your house, rip EVERYTHING off. if they already took it to one of there yards. tell them you have personal belongings in it. and rip everything off..
do it like a theif does.. unbolt the header, cut the oil lines. take off all other major parts fast. and definately take off those coilovers.. anything thats worth any money just ripp off, just dont damage the wiring or main components. its your own personal belongings..
side note.. the damage isnt half as bad as some people might think.. im not sure what your long term goals were. but seats.. (gutt the car, who cares).. paint... hrmm.. primer it and respray the car yourself.... dents.. tell everyone its from track racing, or get those fixxed, might cost a few hundred(atleast pulled out, maybe some wrinkles..
you have no frame damage, and the onlything making it not run is a damaged intercooler and your controll arm.. sounds like time for upgrades.. your cars sick.. if you can keep the car keep it and upgrade it like most honda guys do, DO IT YOURSELF. focus on doing it right, and it should look fine.. our cars sell for 4-6k.. there not worth anything, no point in trashing something you already worked on.
but. if the insurance says, they wont fix it, F* them. drop the insurance, and go to liability. the car isnt worth anything to fix anyways. so if they havent paid you for the car yet, keep it.. <-- definately something to look into.. its not pretty right now. but its all easy fixxes.. make it more a race car then a street car.
sorry i can go on and on.. eeek
