You should paint your grille blue to match the mesh in the bumper. It would be tight.

yeah, ive thought bout painting that, i could use the same paint that i used for my drums and calipers (its high heat, but it would mean keeping the same colour). but im still trying to work out if it would look good, thought bout spraying some paper and putting it there just to give me a rough idea, but idk yet.

nice coming along nicely but not a fan of the blue mesh for some reason doesn't flow with the silver.

Well you're not gonna hear it a lot, but I think blue and silver go pretty well together. that's the theme that I went with and I love it

The antenna screws right off from the base. Screw the new short antenna on. It doesn't mess anything up and could only be messed up if you are retarded.

Edit: After taking a closer look at your car, I'm ****ing lost. Why the hell is your antenna on the passenger side door? Scratch my statement...

Edit 2: I just realized you are in Australia when I noticed it was RHD. That's probably why your antenna is different =/

I think it would look a lot better if you painted the bumper grill silver, the grill (chrome part) black (with mitsu symbol still silver) and the grill inserts silver

hmm, that does look nice, lol
but im hesitant to have silver mesh, as i feel it may be a bit too much, i woulda loved to use maroon instead blue this whole time, but would be rather difficult to get all the different bits, i wish i had good photoshop program so that i could try changing colours of different things.
i am starting to feel that it may be a bit too much having the blue grill though, especially considering i havent got any blue on the rest of the car except for the brakes

other then that, if anyone has any ideas, i welcome them as i have pretty much run out of ideas, lol. im not too sure if there are any other mods to do, but i would love to make the car look bit nicer on the outside.

ive began looking into alternate means of power for my car, no i dont mean for driving, im looking at powering my sound system and im also looking at possibly hooking up a more convient way of changing music, rather then making new cds all the time, i'm trying to see what my chances are at hooking up a hard drive, however there are some problems:
file format compatibility with the current head unit
powering the hard drive
location and size of computer/harddrive
it may be easier to just buy a cd player that has usb input, but then i would have an ugly cable out the front.

anyways, i will let you know what i find out, although some of you may already know whether or not this can be done (i think it would be more of a matter of cost rather then can it be done)

I make mp3 disks that hold around 110 songs per disc. My friend has an indash that can play dvds so he just makes mp3 discs onto those... 4.7gb of music per disc

my player already does mps, but sometimes only wanna listen to certain ones, or maybe im sick of certain song/songs so at the moment i tend to make a new cd once a month depending how much new music i get, i dont have tons of songs, but go through stages as we all do of what songs we do or dont like, and tend to just have the songs i like there, where if i have a portable hard drive or sumthin, i can customize it or (depending on how well i set this up) even choose different playlists, i have even thought about getting wireless internet for it, lol

more then anything, im bored, and looking for something to do, thanks for input though

<EDIT>
i wanna do sumthin that can be more permanent, and i also want to be able to make it so that i dont have cords and **** all over the place, that'll just make it look ugly, my current deck can actually connect to a mp3 player through the use of an auxilary input on the front it came with the cable as well, plug into unit, plug into headphone jack, and bam its good to go. plus they need batteries, lol. im just trying to work on stuff that i wont have to worry about

just bought myself a screen for my car

but now i think i need to modify my center console

i made some brackets for it, then did a rough install and decided i didnt like the look of it, and also could not find a gps reciever that i could connect to it, so turned away from this idea.

i sold it to my boss
