Anyone know the reason why the evo has 2 brake lines running to the brake booster and our lancers have 4?
I hooked up the evo brake booster but only the 2 front brake line had the correct bend to bolt to the brake booster and the evo brake booster is only made for 2 lines anyways while the lancer is made for 4.
here is the 4 lines i am talking about

here is the brake booster conneted to my car with the 2 rear brake lines not connected

I believe its because the evo has abs. The abs pump is on the passenger side and those two lines run to it first.
so the big question of the day, how does the evo rear brakes get fluid if the booster only has connections for the fronts?.. I thought the oz has abs as well?? hmmm interesting

+1, I would keep the evo 9 recaros bro they are much nicer and I am pretty sure they are safer also, those red seats do not seem to be very well made if you know what I mean.... Great project bro, keep it up, and to whoever asks you why didn't you just buy an evo, just say because you wanted to BUILD YOUR OWN!! haha

ok guys lil update I was ready to purchase all my interior parts this week until a really sweet deal fell into my lap that may end up sabtaging (I think that's how it is spelled) this build or putting it on hold once again or even making it take a twist to being a full race car.Ok so I was on my way home from work this morning and a buddy of mine stopped me and asked if I wanted to buy some F1 seats from his S2000 I said sure and went to go look at them until I seen his Evo 8 sitting there just begging for a new home he said he had sold it but the guy wanted to sell it back for $3,500 yes you heard me $3,500 USD I inspected the car and asked what's the catch he said only catch is that it needs a motor and transmission and in his words "you're good to go" so if all goes well next week this car may be comming home with me anyways pictures are worth more than a thousand words with all due respect to all my die hard fans to this thread here is the car i am talking about let me know your opinions good or bad cons and pros whatever or even try to talk me out of it to keep this build alive god dammit....... lol
