Stripped out the carpet and evrything else in the interior today and I got my dash harness installed so far just about all the wires are interchangleable with the lancer rear harness(tail lights brakes etc..) Also connected the battery terminals and evrything works even the a/c blower lol so at the end of the month i'll be getting my full evo 9 interior except I am going for red racing seats for the front instead of the stock recaro front seats.so here are the pics of my last update until the end of the month.

I think alot of our cars have this kind of rust. Mine has some behind the dash, not quite that bad, but there is some. Some of my older cars looked like that, and I know there was no damage from water.

Did you see my post with those pics of where and how the clutch mounts? It looks like there is a mounting plate that you need to reinforce it.
