Hey i'm doing a different swap, but wanted to give you a tip on the harness. I just pulled mine out of my car, and it is a 2 piece harness. The engine harness is completely seperate from the interior harness. Because i took the every wire in the engine bay out plus the computer and could still hook up the battery and listen to music and all the lights work. The only acc. attached i believe are the wipers or wiper spray, one or the other. So if you are afraid about that i would say go ahead. But just letting you know if you didn't already.

Drive safe!

Thanks for the info but I already knew it was a 2 piece harness since i've taken the one oup of my engine bay the only wires that are still in there are the fuse box which runs through the driverside fender to the interior fuse box and harness but what I am wondering is the if the Evo harness has the same setup or if it is a very similar setup can you confirm this? thanks!!

I have a evo harness and just pulled the engine out of my car and started prepping for the rwd. I haven't touched the wiring yet but I can take a look this week for you can let you know.
Plan is to run evo fuse box and accessory wires to run the hid headlights...I'm hoping it plugs into the lancer interior harness.

well i got my fingers crossed also because the dash harness seperates when it runs to the back i'm guessing that connector is for the tailights and everything else behind there.

why didn't you go with a tilton pedal assembly? you could leave abs off, plus it comes with an adjustable bias built in. google them, it's what i would do.

directly to the right of the brake booster where that stud is, you'll have to look at the clutch master cylinder, and the pedal assembly. then just cut and bolt

Ok, here are those pics I was going to help you with.
The first 4 are of my 5 speed OZ rally, the last 3 are of the Auto ES. You shouldn't have to change the resevior on the brake booster. It has a bung on the side that you just tap into and run a hose from it to the clutch cylinder.

Update got my parts today and started to bolt everything in

fender had to be remaoved to take out the dash harness

after taking about and hour and finally getting the dash harness removed I started to fabricate the clutch pedel and clutch pump

never really came out the way I planned but atleast everything falls inline I will be having my welder come by and reinforce this area o the firewall when i and weling the bracket for the right engine mount that our lancer don't have

Here is what finnished pedel set looks like (bye bye automatic)

Here is the evo engine harness and the booster pump for the brembos

Only thig that has me puzzeled at this point is the 4 brake line that our lancer have whilst the evo brake booster has only 2 I will have to do some research on this.

Tommorrow I am going to start putting in the dash harness and hopefully hook up the battery to see what works lol
