ok kool but i already have the evo motor which i prfer to use because finding pistons and rods or the 4g64 is pretty hard to find.also or me to change bell housings that would mean i gotta get the 2 trannys and make one to imo i eel i might aswell just get the evo tranny modify the diff (weld it) and romove the transfer case then weld a plate over the hole.

thnks man yeah it will and atleast i can get the insurance lol i can't get the insurance on an evo until i'm 25.It's a stupid policy here.Oh well 1 more year to go until i'm 25 maybe i'll put her up forsale then.Anyone interested? lol

^ lol.. ya im in that same boat.. (not a rule against it, im just waiting till im 25) little over a year left to wait, getting a new DD first, then the evo will be my next gutted modified car.

ok i know everyone has been waiting for updates and wondering why i have not been posting well here is the thing i have held back on ordering anything since i am getting married in 2 weeks which has dug deep into my pockets but I have been saving some cash aside and i am heading down to MIAMI next month hopefully to buy a short block and transmission i so far i have gotten a sweet deal from one of my sources down there and i wanna hear you guys input on this he is asking $500 for it which is really nice and says that the block is usable what do you guys think and can someone explain to me what bolts up to the damaged area shown in the pictures?

Looks like mounting brackets for the power steering pump or ac compressor, whichever, it looks like it was in a wreck and pushed so hard it broke. I think its a useless unless you just want it for pistons and everything. You'll need to get a new block to take everything and put it in.

i just called him and he said the same thing so i'll just forget it but he did tell me he has an evo 9 long block with 14K miles on it for 2K and another short block or 1k but i laready have a head anyone interested in buying another head or cheap? lol
