4g63 Swap Thread(Mad_Canabice)
Good luck and all but i have one question...
why?
why would you go through all this trouble to have a sleeper lancer when you could have just bought an evo with all the money you have put into this car?
are you in love with your lancer?

Some of us are in love with our Lancers. And some of us dare to be different.

It's been coming along. The car is now on 4 wheels as opposed to being up on jackstands haha. I still have some issues regarding mounting the rear diff and the driveshaft... but overall it's going along great. The rear suspension setup is definitely something to behold...

ok well right now i need some info been doin some reserach but don't have anything positive so here is my question. Is the 4g64 eclipse tranny the best fwd tranny to use and is it the only fwd tranny that will work on the on the evo block? also when you answer this will the evo axles also work with no problem? one more thing does it mount up the same as the evo tranny?

so the eclipse tranmission will bolt up with no fab work? also i am not worrying about going six speed right now i just need to get this thing on the road lol but at the same time my build goal is for atleast 400 hp do you think the tranny will hold up or should i just go ahead and modify the evo transmission to work as fwd?
