Get the UR ones, they are pricey but they are made of a way sturdier material and will last way longer, and imo the basic ones look really cheap.

Look there are a few things that can be done through normal paint care. There are lots of products that you can have installed on that are clear and act as a guard to the paint.

Other things to do is to make sure you put on a few coats of wax. Now I'm not saying that this will stop a lot of the rock chips it will help a bit.

To the OP I'm willing to bet you can get a bit of those out using the right stuff. My favorite stuff is http://www.griotsgarage.com/ it may not be cheap but it's sure worth it.

I would start with Machine polish 1 and work my way up. It should take care of a lot of the small chips. I use to own a VW GTi that even got a few scratches in the paint with only Machine Polish 3 I was able to make the disappear for the most part.

Another thing talked about doing is stripping the clear coat from that area applying touch up paint for your color to the big ones then doing a Machine Polish to the area it should cover it up nicely then re-clear it.

They have a book you can order that talks about car paint care, one of the greatest reads you can find for car care.

They don't fix the issue totally, but they are pretty much the only thing to reduce the problem of rocks pelting the doors and side skirt. I know for a fact that the bottom of my doors would be WAY worse then they are now without the mudflaps. The back edges of the side skirt flare out too much so the only thing u can really do is cut some 3M film to fit it i guess, but the mudflaps cut down on the chips on my doors and rest of my side skirts.

What I have been looking for is a front and side splitter set. RRM sells the front splitter but i can only find generic "1 size fits all" ones for the sides. It would most likely fix the issue and also look fairly good if done properly.

I have found one for an X but its waaay to expensive

Anyone know of any decent side splitters/diffusers to match the front from RRM?

Two months old and my octane blue looks the same as the pics on page 1. gonna try some touch up, buffing, mudflaps and the 3m film, although Im not sure the mitsu flaps will help as they dont extend out the side at all.

You could cover your whole car in blue painters tape.
