Ok. Your better off selling the wrecked evo and buying parts for an evo 4. The wiring will be way different, the front subframe is way different, and the rear you might be able to use, maybe the fuel tank. The rear seats will fit, the fronts will take some modding. If I where to do the evo conversion, I would use these parts I found on ebay, it would be way easier than fitting evo 8 stuff in. Not to say you can't use the turbo, brakes and a few other things.

There should be everything you need and to keep it simple. You'll just need a drive shaft, there usually is another auction for a motor that comes with the transfer shaft.

Thanks, I've looked at these auctions for a couple of months. Why, I don't know. If I would have found all these parts when I had my 01 Mirage, well, they wouldn't be on ebay anymore

 

well the rear subframe is in place all is welded the suspension is in and the wheels are on, tomorrow I'm putting the front subfarme in, and it's going to be the first time she will be a rolling chassi. Can't wait. I just have two holes to drill and two peices to weld and I can mount the subframe in put in the front suspension and I got a rolling chassi.

 

well the evo 4 stuff is old and abused I'd have to buy new parts when the bushing and bearings went out, any way like I said the rear end is in already I had the front subframe mocked up already I just need to drill two more holes and weld two prices in place and it's done, I'll have a mirage on evo 8 front and rear subfarmes and suspension, took some work but it's done, I personally have never see or heard of it done, I could be wrong but I think I'm the first,inclding a custom made evo 8 dash bord and interoir to fit a mirage, and custom made evo 8 front clip to be on there to. I'm even going to put the quater panells of the evo on it.
