well today I started to put her back together, the gas yank is in so are the brake lines and fuel lines the abs is in and the wiring harness is in along with the dash bord, the center console and shifter. Tomorrow the rear diff and subframe go in the engine too and the carpet, I'll let you all know how it goes.

Just a short up date, the engine is in, front subframe and suspension, drive shafts and brembos and disks the front core support is in so is the acd pump and the brackets for the seats are half done courtsey of my beautiful fiancé, the rear diff and suspension is done and in place, the wiring harness is in and wired up most of the way. I recon there is only about a weeks worth of work and debugging left before she will be done, well except the rear quaters and tail lights. Got loads more pics I'll post them soon.

I would like to retract my previous comment. I've thought about it, and a 2 door evo 8 would be very sick looking.

That one company did the 2 door evo.. was green with black front end and bronze volks.
I liked it but hated it... looked cool as a two door but at the same time kind of weird since it looked squished.

Props to this guy, I'm sure the two of us can both appreciate the amount of hard work, dedication, labor and money that all go hand in hand with such a crazy project.

ah yes I have seen this car, and as stated he cut 11 in chew out of the car. But the car is not street legal, to the beat of my knolage it was made for time attacks only.
As I stated no one has ever done the conversion I'm doing, a street legal conversion of an evo vlll to a 2 dr mirage hood fenders bumper lights trunk quaters tail lights rear bumper engine trans rear diff and suspension front subframe a d suspension, also the interior including dash. Center console seats, I even switched gas tanks and relocated the gas cap to the other side of the car. The brembos the abs, and so much more I don't even know wear to begin. When it's done the pics will tell there own story.
