New Wheels...
Getting ready for spring (although you wouldn't know it from the photos), supposed to be +3 this weekend, should take care of that snow problem.
On with the rally tires

I don't rally per se, but i'm registered to compete in pro solo this year at the local road course, having previously only participated in lapping sessions. The track has one of the most abrasive surfaces i've ever seen, so last year I took to running used rally tires because they stand up to the abuse much, much better, and tire compound, lets face it, is not going to make the difference between a class win and 2nd place when you drive a Lancer.
I'm running K-Sport Kontrol Pro coilovers currently, and no, i've never had a problem with them
. They are fantastic for track, because they are ridiculously stiff, street, they are OK as long as I have the ride height way up and the dampening low for winter. I don't get much 3-wheeling or dog-peeing in cornering (however you describe it) with these if I adjust the dampening and camber properly.
I also have an RRM V1 piggyback, RRM Intake, RRM front and rear strut bars, RRM race series slotted rotors, Sparco steel seats, RPW short-shifter, Magnaflow exhaust, and a kenstyle front bumper that should arrive next week to replace the cracked stocker. I also have plans to go with a stage 1 clutch and LSD from some local guys who are selling theirs, and probably a test pipe if/when my 2nd cat finally dies.
I've done auto-x (too hard to navigate ha ha), road course (need some hawk pads for this year though), ice racing this past winter (tons of fun buy too high risk) and loved it all.
