I'm go'n to Mo's Speed here in Nixa, MO tomorrow and see what they got. He does alot of custom hot rods and imports and has all the really hard to find stuff. If I find something I'll let everyone know!

Guess I'm going to have to resort to painting these damn things.

Are the bulbs in the Evo cluster unpainted? Or do they have red condoms? I just want to make the cluster brighter, not necessarily a different color...

Not sure. I've never taken that one apart. I changed everything else in my Evo to red. I'm trying to change the cluster in my OZ to blue.

Converted my dash lights over to blue. Got LED's from http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...gi?product=CAR . Solved the problem of dispersing the light evenly by taking small pieces of paper and gluing them onto the ends of the LEDs. Sounds ghetto, but it works OK. I'll take some pics tomorrow nite and post them.

Ok, I'm having a little trouble following. If I have just the 74s will that work? or do I need the t1.5s and add the 74s that I ordered last week? or neither and I need to toss the 74s, just get the t1.5s and put some dispersal film on them?

For the dash use the t1.5's in the color of your choosing. there are three that light the gauges and one for behind the odometer.

superbrightleds.com was supposed to convert their t1.5s into a wide dispersed (flat topped) led rather than the narrow beam that I think htey still are...

Also, that paper idea... doesn't that dim the light too much? Where's the pics!!

Ive never seen brighter dome lights... plus having a diffuser over the light doesnt help either.. i guess with some modifications you could squeeze in like a 1156 with some wirework to hook it up, but thats not something i would try

if i replace the HVAC and gear shifter and the guage lights...do i just buy the LED listed ont he front page and pop em in? or do i need a resistor etc?

i put 2 blue underdash neons and a blue LED switch in my ashtray, and when the switch is turned on the blue LED lights up and if the ashtray lid is open the light shows on the ceiling, so on the way home from tonite, i got my underdash neons on and this blue LED and i realized...my guages/buttons need to be blue...and i need more blue neons!! so everyone can see the inside of my car is BLUE!! woo hoo!! ::got bit by the interior neon bug::
