I've got the Evo 7 kit on my Lancer and it went on perfect. Took me a total of 2-1/2 hours to install. I did have to cut alittle out of the rear bumper but it's in a place that you can't see by the license plate holder.

I had ordered the Ken style kit from them through a group buy on here. The shipping was fast and I had heard stories that their fitment issues were fixed so I tried to install it myself. I started with the front and I couldn't get the damn thing to line up. I mean it was close but it wasn't perfect by any means. If one side was lined up then the other wasn't. So I decided to just leave it up to the guys at the bodyshop to do it. I drop off my car and when I went to pick it up they said that the kit was crappy and it took them forever to get it on straight. Anyways, Im not trying to knock on accolade because I do like the way their kits look and Im glad someone out there is making kits for our cars, but Im just trying to let you know the fitment thing is still not fixed unless I just got a bad kit or something.

"accolade sucks. I spent $1500 for the zenon kit and the sent me the $1000 dollar apex kit. then they wouldnt give my money back. It took 8 months to get the kit. $3250 to get the kit installed and now they wont take pics of my car off their site even when i told them to. they dont have my permission to use them. my opinion is get a kamanari and be done with it."

i believe all fitment issues have been fixed.

quoted from the site:
"2) 100 % Fit . Our bumpers are 100 % OEM fit. Accolade invests millions of dollars in product development. This is why Accolade has its own set of projects cars and we are just few companies in the world to own a extensive fleet of Showcars and Project Cars. We do not barrow cars from others to develop body kits. If you see on web site " We SEEK PROJECT CARS for Body kit developement " - do not buy from those sites."

Also, u said u pain over 3 grand to have the kit installed... Not only was that a waste on ur part but the installers got some great profit.

hey KULancer... long before dave or you where on this site... Accolade was crap. everyone that bought from them came here and *****ed bout them... there are probably hundreds of threads against them, mainly involving shark racing (who later stopped carrying accolade products since none of them fit) and the zenon and apex 1 kit if I remember correctly... 3 grand was the average cost to install any of accolades products, but even then they garenteed 100% fitament... but if it didn't fit ... they would cry that it was for the lancer cidia... much like they are still doing with the ralliart in this thread

I was talking about the past dave.

isn't that why they got a rep in the us?

unlike you, I was actually here when those threads where posted... so I might be biased.
but I did go with the kaminari kit after checking on customer service and fitament.

but then... maybe I'm biased on the fact that I dont' like vendors that sit around bashing other vendors.

I know I thought Mods couldn't be biased or something. Your the ones who are supposed to keep the threads clean and here you are adding to it. Anyways I have seen a few people with ACCOLADE kits on their cars and they look sick and have never had any problems. Once I get enough saved up I am getting my Ken style kit from ACCOLADE

Peace
