Dash Removal

Does anyone know how to remove the dashboard. I just got a new guage indiglo reverse and need to intall it. Forum search just returned a bunch of non related info and I havent seen the sticky in how to's.

there are two little screws on the black plastic piece surrounding the dash, unscrew those and CAREFULLY pull off the black piece.

Probably the 2 screws that hold the clear and plastic piece in place. It is up under the top where your gauge is.

It's a real ***** getting the cluster out, so be careful, or you might scratch up the dash. Also, be wary of the clear plastic covering the guages. That thing could get scratched by a stiff breeze.

2 screws hold on the black cover, 2 more hold the cluster in place. They are copper colored and you should seet them once you remove the surround. USE A MAGNETIC SCREWDRIVER! If you drop these screws, you're in trouble.

if i remember you will have to remove the entire dash first to be able to remove the top part.
for the airbag don't worry, first disconnect the battery and right under glove box you will fine the airbag connector just unplug it
also the airbag is attached to the top part
it easer to remove the entire dash than the top part
