hey all im new to the tuner world and i got a 2003 lancer oz rally recently im just now putting in a new engine coz the last one blew on me after 60 days of purchase.. but im curious on lowering my car because ive put 17" 's on it and im not sure if compression will be and issue or not.

^^Rims look good. By compression what do you mean? If you running 17's you should be fine on a lowered car. I have 17's on mine dropped 2" on tein springs, though I highly do not recommend lower than that on springs since you will blow your struts quick!! Check out "Lancerman's Wheel Offset Guide" on the lancer tires... forum. Should tell you all you need to know.
i can now officialy add my name to the list after 5 years of owning my car.
found a nice set of struts/shocks @ a local yard with a set of lowering springs sleeve kit.
the rears are kyb gr-2's the fronts are oem's. paid $153 total witch is not bad. compairing them to my oem's these are far better to hold me for now
