mesh grill

has anyboddy removed the stock ugly *** grill from the lancer and just put a mesh grill without buying one from r&r

g0tglows7icks, how did you attatch the mesh to the plastic? I really want to replace the ugly stock grill, just need a little bit o' detailed info. Thanks

first u unscrew the grill from the hood. behind the grill there should be screws holding the horizontal fins in place. unscrew those and the fins should come right off. now measure the mesh and cut out. to attach the mesh to the grill u can use black zip ties.

Is the chrome part of the grill actual metal or is it plastic? Trying to get an idea of what paint to use on it...

its plastic...not too sure on it coz i wasnt the one painting it...and for the red logo...i jus its around the sides of it and spray paint it...and i jus blk zip ties to make the mesh stay in place
