Dupont makes a tar remover for use on paint, works great for debadging and tree sap. Found it at home depot.

Here is some help guys, my Goo-Gone didnt work too well, it was stuck on there pretty tight even after heating, i got a Razor Blade ( I had one used to clean the top of those flat oven tops.... and it came out very easily not touching the paint.

Don't use "goof off" (I think that's what it's called). I used it to scrub the residue off my trunk and ****ed up the clear coat HARDCORE. Never had a problem using it on stuff like chewing gum on my paint, but rubbing that stuff made some nasty marks. If you look at my trunk in the right angle of light you can see 6 little circular clouds

By the way waxing helps alot, don't underestimate it. I had to wax it over about 4 times but it got better and better.

Get your headlights figured out kromix?

Yeah I tried sandpaper-- it worked great!!! And it added a really cool effect to my trunk. My next project is to put bicycle rims and tires on my car... my mom has a really nice 10-speed from 1971 when she went to college. Flame throwing...hmmm sounds intimidating!!!!!!
