I own a 02' ES Lancer and I have an OZ kit I am gettin put on in addition to an RMR lip type 1. I also have an evo 7 spoiler, tinted tails, cf reflectors, and a bunch of other stuff but i am thinking of definately replacing my CF evo style grill with the JDM lancer grill (the one that is similar to the stock, not the ralliart). I eventually plan to paint the chrome around the grill thunder grey to match my car. do you guys think that this grill will look good or should i buy a fiberglass evo style from rrm? I am just tired of my CF front grill and i need a change. please tell me what you think and if anyone has a TG lancer with the JDM grill i described please post pics.

 

if i was to get the jdm grill, i'd paint the chrome part thunder gray also. i don't think anyone has color matched it before? good idea, i think you should go for it, unless you like the chrome.

that would look real good.... I think that it looks similar to RRM's grille of the similar style, only without the mitsu symbol

why not just make a replica of that grill..paint the rrm slotted grill thunder gray and stick a mitsubishi emblem on it

 

its just not the same.....and it would be a lot cheaper to just buy the one from mitsuibishi. it will cost me $125 for the new grill from mitsubishi and when I get my lip kit put on my mechanic probably won't charge me that much to just paint the grill. thanks anyway, that was a good idea.
