yes, i am going to do a tutorial with the armrest, since it is a single piece. These pillars are kicking my ***, since they arent just 1 piece i gotta look after and finish, but 2 pieces. The b pillars are looking awesome, cant wait to have them done this weekend!!! Pix of the installed product will be out soon!

keep up the great work kontra. i've been thinking of doing some cf work myself. i do hve a question though. what do you need to do differently to produce colored cf? i've been thinking of some red for the interior of my car.

For colored CF, I think you just dye the CF weave material whatever color you desire before you go through the hardening process with the resin.

to produce different color composites in CF you need to purchase a material called carbon kevlar. It is the same type CF weave, but instead of an all black weave there is a mix of black and either yellow, red, blue, and some other colors. That is how you achieve your different looks. There is also the silver look too!

If you goto www.uscomposites.com and look under the carbon kevlar page, you will see what i am talking about. It is something i wanna work with, but with what i already and already have been doing the normal CF is what i am using. I would like to get ahold of some blue carbon kevlar soon....

you need to correct resin and hardener, also you need to be able to smooth out the resin. I usually pour my resin on my pieces. I have never had a problem of getting it smooth.
