Correct, if I am reading correctly you will need an h1 harness and 9005 harness. Each harness should have 2 wires, ground and power. Use the ground on each harness, splice them together and attach it to the headlight harness ground. This leaves 1 wire on each bulb harness and those will connect to the wires on your headlight harness in the car. Very simple install.

i wish I can take a digipic of the back of the headlight housing....cuz the place where you put the H1 bulbs...the hole has a white plastic plug with 2 copper prongs sticking out of it...so do u not put in a bulb in that spot? is there a bulb in there already?

twardOZRally, please update us on ur progress. I'm having trouble following these instructions. Call me a noob i don't care...this is why i made this seperate thread ... https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=126737

also let me know how much those harnesses cost and if u could take a pic of them or wut not.

THANKS! I really wanna put mine in already!

that plastik socket is where the bulb goes, you will connect a negative and a positive to those prongs, no there is no bulb in there already. so you have to buy one. This was a real hard install for me also, took me like 3 hours to figure everything out on the first light, and like 30 on the next one, just get a volt meter and test the wires

finally someone says it's a hard install...everyone sayin it's easy...pllleaaaassee.

so that plastic white thingy...it's pretty stiff, does it come off or does it push in when you put the bulb/prong H1 thing in there?

here's that little housing for the H1

assembled (I had to loosen the tabs inside it a little to get the bulb in)

use the 'handle' circled in red to open up the wire latch

9005 bulb installed

9005 bulb + harness (the harness was only about $5 ea.)
