Pretty much. You can go cheaper on the 9005's and wedge bulbs. When I installed my JDM headlights in my old Lancer, I spent about $50 for everything that I needed.

did you get your lights off that "nightevolution" guy from ebay?

if so, you also need:

an extra set of 194/168 wedge bulb sockets
9003 harness (plugs into H1 adapter)
H1 adapters (this is what the cedia's use...it's not necessary but it makes the job nice and clean.)

I have a set of similar Acura adapters modified to fit the cedias. if you're interested, send me a pm..i'm considering selling them

^ yes...all these parts will work with the cedias. But if you decide to go HID you need to modify the H1 adapter to allow wires to pass through. As for the 9005 harness I'd suggest rallylights.com

CP9005CFP - 9005 connector $6.25 x 2
CP9004CM - 9004/9007 Male Plug $5.57 x 2
HL28001 - H4/9003 female connector $5.00 x 2

the H4/9003 connector connects to the H1 adapters. If you get the above parts, you'll have a nice clean set up. No splicing/cutting/soldering on to the stock harness is needed.

as for the 194/168 wedge connector:

I found what I needed at partsource.

The package looks like this:

It's NOT a direct fit...some modding of the socket is required. You need to cut off one of the four "locking tabs" on the socket

I recommend NOT cutting the tabs which are "L" shaped since they help lock the socket in place.

(notice the extended part on the left side of this tab)

This is the result.

I also cut about 5mm off the top because it extended too far into the housing. I also had to slightly enlarge the hole for the tabs in the headlight itself.

Damn it I need some cedias. I'm not too trusting of ebay though and well Japanparts wants organs and limbs, but maybe I can get a raise at work, oh wait, I got kids too, nevermind. Just need to work mad overtime and hope no bills come in that kick me in the *****!

^ yea, what you see is the reflection of the bulb.

Here's an update on my progress. From the parts i've ordered from rallylights.com I made this harness conversion. I made it look as OEM as possible

Pinout of 9007 socket:

Result:

I'm using sylvania osram regular H1 bulbs (low beam) and Nokya 3000k 9005 (high beams)
