There is a very good source for the Cedia's on ebay. I can't remember the seller's name, but that is where I got mine.

4no, that is a great diagram.

Cedia lights

I know that this is an old thread but, I have a question. I just got those cedia headlights but the ones I got did not come with H1 adapters. Anyone knows where I could get those adapters? The H1 bulb does not seem to fit correctly without them.

this is the problem I have

Seems like h1 bulb wont fit without it. In the Pic you'll see that the clip does not even touch the base of the bulb. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

the hi'1 i got from another member here 4no is his name.. he bought me a pair of h1's after i sent him money via paypal.. got them in 1- 2 weeks ( comming from canada )... my h1 adapters had 2 terminals on the back and i see only 1 in that pic u gave us,,.. i had no issues with my h1 bulbs fitting in the socket

if you look at this pic here

the h1 adapter should have 2 terminals at the back and not 1

The problem that I have is that the headlamps did not come with bulb adapters. Thats why there is only one terminal. I did find these adapters for a website that carries Hella light conversions. Im pretty sure that those rubber covers are removable. The black socket part looks realy similar to the white one in the earlier post. I ordered a pair of them to see if will work. The name of the company is Susquehanna MotorSports. The part number for the sockets are HL28521 Adapter - Two Terminal 165MM Sealed Beam to Hella H1 High Beam, One Required per lamp. It cost me $28 shipped to Cali. Hopefully these will work, I will update once I get them.

here are the pics....

** removed ** i needed teh space ** if u need pics just pm me **

pic #1 is of the adapter in the cedia housing...
#2 is the adapter itself female end where the H1 bulb
shown in pic #4 goes into the slot... basicly slide the male terminal of the H1 bulb ( pic #4 ) gently into the slot of the h1 socket image #2......
#3 is where the connection is made to the factory harness you spliced into, if you did so..
i made a custom harness, so i didnt have to cut the factory wireing.. sorry i didnt getthe image
of the bulb in the socket itself.. i had to move car outta the garage, pops came home....
you get the idea tab a into slot b ( h1 bulb male into h1 socket female )

any other questions, feel free to ask

Well looks like I do need that adapter. Hopefully the hella one I ordered or the one's that 4no are trying to get me will work. Unfortunately the lights that I had ordered did not come with that white adapter.

I actually have a harness with relays from another set that I have modified with one 9007 female socket for input signal and 2 9005 sockets with 2 H4 sockets. Well just gotta wait now.
