now a few lancers on here have sponsors...and an it ust be nice...but what do you have to do to get sponsors?...i wouldnt mind doing shows and all that but people like kontra ....who had sponsors up the Assh...how do you get them?

 

first get with some other lancer owners in your area, and form a club of people interested in modding you car and willing to put money and time into it. then call around to shops/companies and offer that you will do a group buy or ask for a discount to buy and advertise their product. the more stuff you can get on your car, the more companies will be interested in your car, so you have to build up. also being in shows helps. you can also offer to be in a show if they give you parts/service to advertise their stuff for them. as for performance parts, you may have to race at local tracks for them... it definately helps if you have a group.

hahahah this is somewhat true. having a good looking car that gets attention is key! If you have that they almost come to you, but you can also start off as a project vehicle with a good rendering an know the right people and a car can be built off of sponsors, but having a name for yourself is VERY helpful in this industry.
