Shift Knob Problem

I got an Ichibahn shift knob that uses the three screws and the rubber sleeve to hold it on. I kept having to tighten the screws like every day and now its at a point where the screws can't be tightened anymore but the knob is still loose and can actually be turned completely around. Does anybody have any advice on how to get the knob working or is it pretty much useless now?

Not sure, I've got an auto, but do the screw have any washers on them?

the srcews are way too small and plus the thing is a cylinder so it would shrink the hole to an unuseable size

well what the knob does is essentially dig the screws into the rubber sleeve to form a seal, only problem is the screw hole gets stripped or the rubber keeps on changing shape.

well... kartboy has some for the lancer... and evo... but it's not really my type... i have a knob... what i did was drill a hole in the the inner rubber... just big enough so i can twist it over the threaded part of the shifter... this causes it to be tight and bite onto the shifter... this might help
