There is a guy outthere who does a full conversion (its not really worth it). Dont know any of his info, that what I hear though. You would probleby be best going with an Evo 7 conversion though (closer to the OZ) there is kits availale or if you want do what I would do if I had the money....Buy a kit for the evo 7 (I really like the Veil Side kits myself) and mould it to fit your car.

Hope that helps

Danno

PS the 8 is possible but how deep are your pockets?

and the price of an Evo8 is cheaper then the full conversion.

I agree with Danno. It is probably much cheaper to just by an Evo outright. Besides, it could prove fatal to dress up a Lancer to look like an Evo...for me anyway. It would be like a sheep in wolf's clothing. You might have Vettes, Vipers, or the like thinking your an Evo, race you, and blow you away. Well that may be a bit extreme, they could just me Accords or Galants.

import trenz has two kits for you. one is the evo 7 front end conversion version 1 which requires the reinforcement bar to be removed. and the soon to be released version 2 which is more extreme with a fatter longer lip and doesnt require any modifications to safety regulations. the version 1 however is more suttle if you are not trying to attract attention. the version 2 is hella hot though...but thats my taste...all show and shine..the version 1 is more of a practical everyday beater don't look at me too much kinda kit.

check it out: www.importtrenz.com

There is only two companies that you can go to:

1. Accolade - look for the Techsport design www.body-kit.com

2. Like Babyboba29 just said, Import Trenz is coming out with Evo 7 Ver.2 Kit (not yet in the market) www.importtrenz.com

this has been asked so many times before.

i dont see why its not possible..little cutting, welding, sheet metal and body filler and im sure its possible....minitruckers do it all the time. i saw a 96 s-10 with the new colorado headlights/grill/bumper combo. looked pretty nice.

also 9 out of 10 people agree making ur lancer look like an evo...is just as bad as the civic rsx conversion..lol but why would u want to? i think the 7 looks better than the 8. maybe u dont though so...who knows, good luck with it though

the version 2 is in production and not yet released. give import trenz another 2 weeks and it will be the market....and on my car. muahahah!!! just to describe it....has anyone seen that yellow lancer from taiwan with the evo 7 kit> it has white rims, black headlights..anyways...if you have, the kit pretty much looks that aggressive...maybe even more.

making ur lancer look like a evo 7 is just as bad as making it look like an 8. their both fast cars. I just havent seen anybody who has tried to do a evo 8 front end conversion. why wouldnt the fenders/headlights/front bumper and hood be a direct oem fit??

The hood latch for one would be different..our grill is attached to the hood, the 8 isn't..

But anyhoo...the only thing i would be interested in the 8 would be modifying a Gialla front end to fit... Still thinking of it...
