Lowering

are the road race progress springs any good? and are they the perfect height where you can still put a body kit on the car?

yes let's hear some other opinions on this~! Tswift has Progress Springs on his ES without a bodykit and he's ride is supposedly "slammed". I think you'll be okay with out any kit, but once you put a kit on ur ride, ur gonna have a really low ride. I want to lower my ES too, but I got a body kit on it, and it's already low...with Progress springs, it'll be too low.

I've got progress on my OZ and it's not low enough. I can fit 2 fingers between the wheel and the fender, and my skirts are probably 6" from the ground.

well you need atleast that much clearance between the wheel and fender or else when u make bumpy turns ur tire would rub up against ur fender....

that's because it's an OZ suspension...the "not low enough" put's it at a good stance for performance and less slammed for looks. Also good if you have a body kit it, so not too low to the ground. Now with the ES it's a different story...it'll be too low. That's why i'm trying to see if I can buy some OZ front struts.

That's right. Look was not as expected, but performance is way better than what I thaught

get tein's they are lower
That's alot of money we're talking about. I'll just stick the progress for now, mod the engine a bit more, then I'll move on to Tein

go with tein s.tech springs.. they're considerably cheap and really good quality.

My roommate has Teins on his OZ and he has a Rushkits kenstyle kit and there aren't any problems with it being too low. I'd say it has a good 6+ inches at the lowest point, which is the front bumper.
