Thumbs down Bad experience with ebay m3 mirrors

wanted to let everyone know to be weary of the m3 mirrors on ebay.. ordered a pair and got them today, first glance looked ok. started to install and noticed that the oem mirror is held on by studs that are part of the mirror bracket.. and new mirror came with bracket that had holes (no studs)... no problem, i thought.. i can use the studs from the oem mirror... while removing oem studs i broke the oem mirror bracket.. no problem, i wont be using the old mirror anyways. then came the fun part of trying to fasten the studs from the oem mirror into the new bracket.. well super glue is holding so far but not holding my breath.. put the mirror on and sat in the drivers seat to take a loook,,,, well folks, you do get what you pay for.. the oem mirrors are crystal clear and the m3's are blurry. deciding to take a shot in the dark i emailed the ebay seller and told him that the included brackets needed modification to install properly and his response was "did you try professional installation"? so all please beware, looks like i will be putting oem mirrors back on after i can come up with cash to purchase a new right mirror since the bracke assembly that i broke isnt sold separately... so if anyone knows of someone with a right power mirror that has it for sale let me know and be very cautious of the ebay m3 mirrors.

i bought those a few months ago and noticed the same thing. i sent them back to the seller
and told him they didn't fit the 2003 lancer. he was cool about it and refunded my credit card.

Good Luck-

not sure on the seller anymore. did you pay with your credit card? if so the major ones like MC and visa protect you while online shopping. you call them and tell them what happened. how wrong part and seller refuses to resolve the situation. give them the info about seller and they'll refund your money to you and deal with him. I've done this a few times. It's the banks way of trying to promote more online shopping.

haha I got those exact same mirrors. I bought them for my old car (91 Tercel) and their such pieces of ****! I hated those mirrors with a passion. Mine never fit properly and they where supposed to be an amber light the jackass gave me a blue one instead I was so pissed! If it makes you feel any better I had mine on for over a year and nothing happened, nothing fell off. I have heard horror stories though that if they get to hot (the glass will pop out).
