here's an odd one...

driving around saturday afternoon i felt a little chatter in the steering wheel. nothing major, just a little left/right rocking as i'm driving. figured i should check my tire pressure since it had been a couple of weeks.

Front L: 16psi
Front R: 44psi

Rear L: 26psi
Rear R: 26psi

now, according to my handy dandy manual, fronts are supposed to be at 29psi... so 15psi or so somehow moved from my front left to my front right. odd. air in the left, air out of the right, drives like a champ again. a little concerned though, might change out the front two tires.

It is possible that you turned left a lot during you drive, causing the right tire to increase pressure, although that is a bit much. As for the other side, maybe it has been losing pressure, or you moved it off the rim just enough (while cornering, or hit a bump or curb) to let some air out. Other than that, do you have any enemies or people wanting to pull a prank on you? Or happened to have driven through the Bermuda Triangle?

btw, nitrogen fluxuates much less if you ever want to try inflating your tires with that. Problem is if you have to adjust later, you might not have nitrogen around. That's what they use in NASCRAP though, and it was disturbing to see a pit crew guy letting pure nitrogen out of some tires while sitting over the wheel smoking a stogie!!!

I use the nitrogen from my scuba tank to fill my tires. I don't need to adjust NEARLY as often. It helps if your lazy like me though.
