my dad has 18x8's in the front and 18x9's on his bimmer and hes rear wheel drive and he HATES the fact that he goes through front tires so quickly (not his choice by the way its a 740IL with sport package)
over all, for better handling and more efficency, go the same size on all 4, but thats just my opinion

It looks cool if its functional, I've seen a FWD domestic (I think it was like a malibu or something like that) with wider rims in the back and it just looked retarded. Anybody who knows anything about cars will point and laugh and yell "ricer". Not sure why you would go through front tires faster, have any insight Handmemyarms? All I can think of is it's a ratio or camber thing.
