Yeah, JIC's got the best coilovers right now, but they'll cost u an arm and a leg...there's a new kit comming out that'll cost u less that both Tien and Jic...just be patient and keep checkin the forums

yeah...

Best = Jic ($1900)
Second Best = Tein SS ($1200-1500)
Economical = Tein ???? ($800-900)
Just springs = Ground Control or Skunk2 ($300-400)

Jic is the top performing part, but Tein is a very close second for hundreds less, especially if you get the pillow ball mounts to go with them. The economical kit that is coming out soon is nice but doesn't have adjustable dampening, which comes in handy for tuning your car's handling characteristics. And the spring only kits are only worthwhile if you can find a decent aftermarket shock to accompany them. I personally went with the Teins and a camber kit, and it has impressed both me and my competitors so far!

You mean they didn't give them to you, or at least a fat discount for letting them test them on your car?

The basic Tein just came out and is available through RRM. They are ride height adjustable and not dampening adjustible. There are already fully adjustible Teins out, called Tein SS, which run about $1200-$1500. The basics came out so we could have ride height adjustability with some nice struts, since there are no aftermarket struts available yet.

yeah you had it backwards. The one with adjustable ride height AND dampening has been out for a long time, while the basic (just ride height) kit is new.
