lightweight 16s
lightweight 16s
need some help guys... looking for some light weight 16s... lightest i have been able to find in 16s is 17ish lbs... looking for more like 15 lbs... anyone got any rim ideas throw em up on here.
http://www.mysportscar.com/features/wheelweight.htm There's a couple of other databases out there as well. The Rota Slipstreams I want are 13.5 lbs. in 16" as well.
11.5 pounds for these NZO rims, they look good to me but i havent heard too much about them.
www.aktiresusa.com is the website i think. the rims are called the Monza's but they only make em in 4x100
im pretty sure the Konig Traffiks are abour 11 or 12 pounds for the 16", they are all over the place so try looking at discount tires or tirerack

LesSchwab just started making their own line of rims specifically for imports called Amp. Yeah, I don't like the name either. But, they make 16x7 or 7.5 (don't remember which) and they're light as hell.
The stock OZ rims weigh 15# each without rubber. These, with rubber weigh less than the stock OZs with the same rubber (FZ4's). Ok, that's using the bicep scale
But there's a noticable lightness to them. They're retailing for about $100 each rim and they don't look too bad (7 spoke design with a groove in each spoke). OZ and ES bolt patterns. 42 is the offset.
I don't know how rugged they are, though. . .
