Opinion on ebay strut bars?

I bought one from ebay that looked alot like that. It fit, but I can't use it because the intake manifold rubs it, or at least some sensor thing on the intake does, hard. I've tried raising it, grinding it, and nothing works. Don't waste your money on one of these. Get one that you know will work.

okay not to be a dick or anything...but how come the evo guys choose quality parts..... yet i notice alot of lancer dudes a;ways find there **** on ebay??? i notice this alot!!!!!!

Think about what you are asking, and what types of people are actually buying Lancers and EVOs.

Lancer = Ricer market, young kids, not much money, not much knowledge, don't want to be another Honda ricer (sorry to offend, but hey, it's a budget import, don't kid yourself)
EVO = Either the yuppy market, or that actual hardcore performance tuner market with the pockets to buy the good stuff.

I would never buy an ebay strut tower brace, not even for my $525 Nissan Pulsar. Cheap parts means there is no research and development behind it, or a copyright infringement.
