To stop that mad horsepower huh? There are better mods you'd probably spend as much money (if not less) on for better performance i.e. a true coilover suspension kit. If you want performance, work on getting the front upgraded since that's where all the weight is getting shifted to (that and an already pretty bad F/R weight distribution). Run a search it's been covered before. Brembo had a big brake front kit for $2400. I'll say it again: there are better ways to spend that kind of green.

Hey I bought some new drilled and slotted rotors for the lancer. They are shipping to me now as we speak. I also received my carbon kevlar brake pads from rrm today. Can't wait till I get those on my car. I bought the rotors off of www.importpartsplus.com. They are for only the front of course but those and the new pads I should notice a pretty good difference.

I know the answer is out there but couldn't find it. Figured I'd bump a 3 year old thread so you know I searched before posting My question has nothing to do with rear disc conversion, the rear disc conversion thread has nothing to do with the search I ran, but hell... who cares.
Any cons of using CarbonKevlar pads with slotted discs? Not drilled, not drilled and slotted. Slotted only!
