The dealership gave me some crap like "do you run the ac alot? and also did you let the car warm up or did you just get in and go?" I always start my car 5 minutes before I go anywhere! Well "that's all we can tell you unless you wants us to run a diagnostic test on it and that starts at $50." WTF??? so I ask about why it is that sometimes when I try to stop the gears stick or something and the car revs then lurches forward! they tell me'Well the two issues are probably related, did you want us to pull it in and check it out? We will have to do the Diagnostic tests on it. So did you want to do that?" Hell naw! So I still have the problem that this thread is about sometimes, but the sticking and lurching forward thing I just pull my handbrake up now if I hear the car statrt to rev when I come to a stop and after the initial lurch it is fine! I should get a new car, but I liked this one until I realized Mitsu screwed me with a hunk of junk! If I win the lottery I'm getting the wifey and I both new cars for real!

 

Im having the same problem. And its definitely getting more frequent. Resetting it now, but if that doesnt work I'm going to the dealer, and I'm going to insist on driving it and showing it to them, so I dont get any "couldnt reproduce complaint" bs

 

Did u ever fix da problem? What was it?

 

mine does the same thing but i dont wanna get a tranny flush /: mine has 109k on it and i dont think the original owner changed the fluid .
