I'd say you need a new clutch. I'm in the same boat although I've yet to experience the same kinds of sliping you have seen.

I'm at 35,000 miles right now and I'm experiencing similar problems. Right now when I'm in first, trying to accelerate, my car crawls to 20mph. Instead of accelerating normally from first to second, in second my car revs high and the revs don't drop. The clutch will finally catch at around 40mph at around 4500 rpms but by that time it's time to switch gears to third. Third does the same BS and when it is time to switch gears to fifth it's taken 5 seconds to get to the shift point.

God forbid I'm the first to a light, I just sit there. It's sooo sad. I'm ordering a clutch today. I think I'm going with Works Stage 1. It's all I have the money for. But something is better than nothing.

its possible that you need a new clutch, mine was just fine at 57k, but i had to replace it since i had to get the slave cylinder replaced. there are several on here that had their clutch go much sooner than 55k, so you should probably look into it.

well parking on a hill w/o an e-brake could cause unneseccary stress on it. mabye its a little worn out but as long as its not slipping while driving you should be fine.

that's what i keep telling myself too. i notice mine getting more and more worn out but it has yet to ever slip. i'm keeping my eye on the rrm stage 2 but until my stock clutch is completely dead, may as well save the money
