Hey whats up everyone, well, finished installing the RRM stage 2 clutch today, with a new mitsu throwout bearing, and its not working!!! when the car is off it shifts fine, but when it is on it will not go in gear. we checked everything, also tried adjusting the pedal and nothing , we called it a day about 20 mins ago . i was wondering maybe somebody else who has done a clutch ran into the same problem? Any input is greatly apreciated!

 

I had that same problem with my stock clutch. The shoped flushed out the transmission fluid and put new fluid in. works great now. I was afraid it was my clutch but I guess not. How many miles are on your car? You should change ur tranny fluid ever 20kmiles (is what ive heard) I hope this helps.

 

got it fixed on sunday, the problem was the lever that pushes the throw out bearing got loose, probably when we put the tranny back together, so we hooked that back and it works like a charm now, also put in the works short shifter, still braking it in so i havent boosted but you can tell it has a lot more grip, my stock clutch was still good, but the throw out bearing was $hit, im glad it was only $33, i've seen some people on here paying like 100 for one of those, awesome products from both Road Race and Works !!!
