This is possible... if you have a lot of money and if you can find a junked EVO.

it's going to be something completely custom. you'll have to change the engine and transmissions. maybe use something out of a 3 class BMW? that'd be about the closest to appropriate size

I honestly have to ask why? The amount of money this would cost (buying the evo AWD system, modifying the stock tranny/buying a new tranny, buying a new engine, refabing the suspension, modifying the fuel tank, etc.) you could buy a way better car for drifting or racing (I'm assuming drifting since FWD can and do compete sucessfully in racing). Why not buy a 240sx or a MR2 or a miata or a 300ZX or a AE86, the list of better cars goes on and on.

Guys... keep this on topic please

Comatose is right... this can be done with an EVO rear swap... but it's gonna be time consuming. I highly doubt that this can be done in a week unless the original poster already has a WHOLE junked EVO in his possession.

And please... stop shooting this man down! He's trying something out that I believe NONE of us have accomplished! If he does pull this off... we can possibly have a write-up... and others may attempt it.
