Shift Kit for Auto

Are there any shift kits made for the automatic transmission in our Lancers? I've seen the one that A2 had but we all know what's happening there so... I've also been to LevelTen and can't figure out if any of that applies to our transmission or not. Just looking for some input, Thanks.

i know Level 10 HAD a torque converter for sale so check out their website and see if you can get a response out of them.

A2 HAD a shift kit, and when they went under i contacted Phillip Rench to find out where he got the kit from. I have a feeling he custom fabbed it from parts from other kits.

I know that if you google Auto Shift Kits and search enough you can find generic Mitsubishi shift kits. So have a look around

no one makes them. i emailed IPT and got no response. Other than them, i'm out of ideas. The only tranny upgrade for an auto lancer would be a Level10 torque converter.

But i doubt anyone is gonna push the auto trans beyond its limits. Its pretty tough and can handle a lot of power. No one really NEEDS to upgrade it unless your putting a lot of power down...like 250hp+

Well a shift kit is more of just to help the tranny shift faster rather than make it stronger.

^ That's what I was wanting it for. I really don't think I'm going to be the one to brake the auto tranny, I just want it to work a little better. What would the torque converter do exactly, just give better power transfer or what?
