Sry for bumping an old thread but, I haven't been here in a while.

Yeah, 10-12 hours will be more than enough for a first timer. That's about what it took a buddy and I to do my car. That timeline also includes time to eat, drink, and think/build a plate to lift/lower the transmission.

Wow I thought I was getting a high estimate. 3D Motorsports here will do it for 320 for labor and Royal Purple fluids. I just need to find a decent priced clutch kit.

when mine when on my 02 oz, i got it replaced with what you got priced out and for parts and labor, it ran me 1200.
I really had no choice or time to shop around as it was totally burnt out and had to be towed to the shop..

Like the others have said, shop around and find a good price and someone that knows what they are doing.. and remember, it's always better to pay a little more to get it done right than to get a 'deal' and have to get it done again

im sorry to hear that...

i have still been going strong on the original clutch... all i ended up doing was adjusting the clutch pedal, and that solved a lot of problems
