Assuming they're both from a 4G94, then yes.

alright, are you guys sure, it would make sense but before we go to buy it i want to be sure it will fit correctly

maybe call mitsu and ask them?! Most wreckers will know this info as well.

Don't see why not since it's the same car. All that changed was the fuel system and that has nothing to do with the transmission.
Next time, wait, don't post the same thread twice.

Check the transmission code/partnumber of both cars and if it matches your good. If not, call mitsu with the part number and get them to list you the cross-referanced numbers and if one of those match your good. Otherwise no.

It would fit, you will need a little more parts than just the tranny... The 04-06 tranny use the mirage style clutch fork, cylinder actuator and throuth out bearing... Mitsubishi return at the old style desing if I remember exactly.

Or just switch the belt housing...
