Personally I felt 2nd and 3rd were a bit stronger and gave me that push back.... ? But then again I usually shift out of 1st around 3.5K RPM...

~2.5k RPMS i shift to save gas... even in the city (im in LA) i can get 25 mpg on an average day in the city.... averaging 28-31 mpg freeway (cruise control at 65) lol

I have a lead foot...... it's impossible for me to shift before 3k RPM.....

Does driving a car aggressively put more wear and tear on the car than driving conservatively? Yes. Should you worry about it? Probably not.

If I put 100,000 miles on a car, and 70% of those miles came on a racetrack with the motor constantly spinning above 4,000 RPM, hard braking, hard cornering, etc., that car would likely have more problems than a car driven conservatively (never above 4K RPM, easy on the brakes, easy on the corners). However, your motor isn't going to explode because you wind it up to 6K now and then!

Don't drive like a moron, but have some fun now and then!
