Wheel Hop!!!

I have an 03 ES, and every time I launch the car on the track the front end bouces violently. The car still takes off extremely quick but I'm afraid I might be damaging the car!!!
Any help would be greatly accepted!

Road Race's Window-Weld solution is an option (they have a tech article about it somewhere) and the motor mounts from Deyeme are available as well.

The window weld is nice and cheap and if you dont want to drive the car for a couple days do it. Deyeme racing sells solid urethane mounts for like 65 a piece, which is a permanent solution. These make a big difference in traction and wheel hop is gone. I have them and have *****ed about them a lot too but you cant argue with the traction and drivetrain responsivness.

I rarely get wheel hop when launching my OZ but I know LSD would help me gaing better launching traction, since right now only one wheel spins. Although it isn't cheap, would LSD help eliminate wheel hop as well as give better traction???

Well think about what an LSD does. It only solves half the wheel hop equation, the slipping and gripping tires part, you still have done nothing to keep the engine from rocking back and transfering the weight to the rear of the vehicle which is the major cause of slipping tires (unless you are turbo but that does not apply to most here). At 800+ smackers for an LSD it is way more cost effcient to do the mounts, which solves 3/4 of the problem, no more backward weight transfer and a lot less slipping tires, for 1/6th the price.

For the record, I have ZERO wheel hop problems with the DMR mounts and none of the vibration problems that a few people who installed them had.
