automatic tranny locked up. working fine yesterday. I put on the new RRM LED tail lights but I dont think that would cause the tranny to lock up would it? any info would definately help. thanks

 

If by "locked up" you mean shifter won't move out of park, I'm guessing it may relate to your tail light install. Since--to my knowledge--you can't shift out of park without your foot on the brake something somewhere has to "tell" the computer the brake is on. Most likely way to do that would be through tail light circuitry. I'm not a mechanic, don't have a service manual and am just speculating, so take it for what it's worth. Good luck.

 

could be a problem, i heard those LEDs cause other issues with the car and thats why we dont see so many out for the car

 

contact rrm they will tell u what u need to fix, i think its some resistors i cant remember. your cruise might not be working either.
