I've never used it...I have a Quaife. I just had it custom made for the hell of it.

both the 4G94 and 4G69 use the F5M42 gearbox...some of the gear ratios are different, and the diff's are different part numbers, but it should fit...what Quaife part number fits the 2.0L lancer transmission?

Strange, they are world renowned, and at the forefront of ATB LSD's, many would say they are "the best in the biz"...They produce them for OEM, as well as motorsport...they have a lifetime warranty, even if the car is used as a race car, and there's no power limit...

I honestly think it would fit the 4g94 transmission. It's the same tranny except for the bell housing and the gear ratios.

I would also pm 03lances and ask how well the phantom grip worked out. I'm pretty sure the reviews he wrote in the past about it had great reviews. Here's his install thread

If anyone has a spare diff for the 4G94 version of the F5M42 gearbox, we could take measurements. Even if the diff carrier itself from a 4G69 transmission does not fit, the LSD conversion unit may still fit the gears, and it's under $200 from RTM racing.

Im in the process of doing the Quife Lsd right now , noticed I might have to go with Ralliart axles and possible differential bearing and axle seals . Took the trans apart and differential fits just not the lancer differential bearing , going to try a 02 eclipse and 04 Ralliart bearing .

I never got this in-depth with my 03 lancer, is the spline count different? or are the diameters different as well? You may just need the inner CV joint cups for the ralliart...our passenger side axles are different, they have a bracket that bolts to the block that houses a bearing, so from the diff to that bracket is a short shaft, which the I think is a place holder where the transfer case would be on 4G6x motors with AWD...no idea why we don't just use a full length axles like the 2L lancer

so basically you would need a driver side inner to put on the passenger side, because the passenger side inner joint on the ralliart is female splined.

Are both diffs the same dimensions though that's what im worried about...the bearings and core sizes?

I have no idea, I've been trying to get you 02-03 lancer guys to get me some measurements so I can compare...I never had my 03 tranny apart.
