Ok so I have done some searching around and all the posts I have found relative to this have been about 2+ years old. Hoping someone has found another solution since then. Is it really only that $1000+ drop in solution we have available? Anybody found any trannies that came with lsd as a viable swap? O

 

You can use the LSD from a '95 and up 4G92 MIVEC trans found in the CJ4A and CK4A Mirage.

Brand new you have:
Cusco
KAAZ (DBM2050)
RRM's Mirage LSD
Quaife (76.309.150)

 

So I have been doing some research in these mirage trannies. Are these only jdm? And is this tranny a drop in affair just swap the trannys and go? Really need LSD lol I think a lot of my traction issues is from the crappy es suspension but I know lsd will give me the most dramatic change just can't afford a grand for one

 

I don't know if there is anything special about swapping that tranny in. It is from a JDM vehicle so will be difficult to source and for cheap. You'll end up spending about a grand for an LSD, there's no two ways about it. That's just what they go.

lsd would be sweet.. is it really that hard to find? i seen some universal kits on ebay, but those are probably bull

 

Universal=junk lol or way too much work to deal with especially ebay universal

 

where would be the best place to get one.. i actually got my tranny al apart, replacing a few bearings.. would be nice to find lsd,, perfect time to install

 

Well you can contact the dude in the FS link in post #5 or you can do as senate suggests and get one from one the links in post #2.

 

i just ordered my lsd from kaaz the part number is a DBM2050 AND IT IS A REASONABLE PRICE. that is the only one available now since cusco pulled its us market.

Thats the way to go.. Lol dohc + lsd? The prices they have for just 2 of those parts online almost 2 g's. Danngg
